
Completion of LSA and Fire-Fighting Equipment Inspection for M/V Arctic Energy in Dakar
Essential statutory inspections and servicing were successfully carried out for the M/V Arctic Energy following its arrival in Dakar on August 15, 2026, at 15:00 LT (GMT 0) AGW WP.
The maintenance and verification work was initiated to support the vessel’s ongoing class and flag changes involving RMRS (Russian Maritime Register of Shipping). The comprehensive scope of life-saving appliances (LSA) and fire-fighting systems completed during the port call included:
Immersion Suits: Thorough inspection, pressure testing, and bubble testing were successfully conducted ashore.
Portable Fire Extinguishers: Annual servicing was performed on the older fire extinguishers, alongside the management of newly stored units.
Foam Applicator: Inspection and setup support were completed for the new foam applicator equipment.
Fire Detection System: Full testing and verification of the vessel’s fire detection system were executed to meet compliance standards.
All requested services were coordinated efficiently upon the vessel’s arrival, ensuring full compliance with the updated statutory requirements.
